Nice game, kept me entertained, but its way too easy, I finished it in just under two hours, having dug up the core in my possesion two quests ahead of time.
All you do is make some deep shaft mines and graze the deepest part you can safely get to, try to skip as many upgrade levels as possible, I never bought any upgrades under 2500 except for the hull.
This makes it sound like a boring levelgrinding game, but fortunately, the goals in the quest and limited storage capacity kept me wanting to finish 'Just one more quest' before going on to do something useful with my night.
Maybe some more levels of upgrade, and a smaller leap between the last two(the 2500 coolant gets you halfway there and the best goes all the way, for example) some hidden archeological sites or that sort of variation and you'd have a five star game on your hands.
Overal a fun game with only minimal need for level-grinding.
I did spot a minor glitch that the clever cheater can exploit though, if you have enough money for a higher upgrade, you don't have to pay for the lower ones in between.
This thing is a joke, but not because of lack of skill. the backgrounds are fairly decent and the animation is fluent, but the sticks just make it all very generic and bland. I have no problem with stick figures, but random combat with them is frankly old. The music is ok but I need sounds to match the combat, even a simple ka-shing or splat noise at the right time would probably take this thing up to an acceptable level. It's smooth, its polished, but it lacks the things that would really make it work. I'm not going to cut you any slack in this review because I know you can do much, much better. Learn how to time some sounds, maybe try some voice acting and you may get somewhere.
I'm not writing an aggresively bad review to hurt your feelings, just to hopefully make you see that you're better than this.
fun game, but I get the same glitch as the person below me, you may want to look into it because that can really take the fun out of the game without there being anything wrong with the actual game. Otherwise, keep going and make nr. 3.
I kept my upgrades relatively low so I wouldn't reach mars and collected money untill I got the gravity kill upgrade, it appears that you just keep on moving without decelerating untill you bump into mars, and it doesn't work in freeplay even if you bought it before, still kinda funny, but not really worth the time, so I hope I saved some people the effort:)
All in all a fun game, better than the first
Good, but I would suggest more choices for the player for a possible follow up, maybe a skill tree with some choices, go for more mp? go for an extra ability? an ability upgrade?
different types of dice would be nice as well, going up against an enemy who uses a D8 against your twin D6es for example would prove interesting for mathematically inclined players.
Jus't a thought from an avid boardgamer:)
it's a lot of fun but I found a bug which took the fun out of level 17 for me. If you fail level 17 your blob gets put back in its place, but the moving platforms dont, resulting in my blob falling to ground level and making it nigh impossible to get up without going over 42.
for a sequal it might be fun to have some stars be worth more than one or relieve you of one or two stars to make the game a bit more about thinking out your path instead of only using your skill to dodge as many stars as you can untill you reach the portal and then going back to capture the remaining points.
just some thoughts, but I apreciate the game
This is Holland's own Ome Henk with the song Weet je wat ik wil?(do you know what I want) Bufalaxed.
But I admit I could hear some of the translations in it as well.
Really great, like all parts, I love the Passion of the exterminator medal^^ Squish!
Not telling though, but don't go looking for the obvious, just do what comes naturally to an inquisitive mind
fun, but totally inacurate, a real IQ test takes your age into account and is taken by a profesional. it did come to allmost the same conclusion as my profesional did though:)
